Stephanie McGowan is a visual Artist based in Co. Sligo. McGowan gained distinction in her BA of Fine Art from Institute of Technology, Sligo. Following this, she was selected for the RDS Visual Arts Awards 2017, being one of 13 artists selected across Ireland. McGowan completed a Masters in Contemporary Art Practice, at The University of Edinburgh in 2018, during which she also took part in ‘Tropical Lab’ residency, Singapore. McGowan’s exhibiting includes; The Courthouse Gallery, Clare, NOA, Lucerne, 126 Gallery, Galway, Harbinger Project Space, Reykjavik, ICA Singapore, Mazda 2.5, Leipzig, The old Biscuit Factory, London and Embassy Gallery, Edinburgh.
